The American organization for awareness of Pan Am 103
NB! This is not the homepage of VOPAF103!!! VOPAF103 will publish their own homepage later this year.

The biggest American organization for supporting relatives and friends of the victims is called Victims of Pan Am Flight 103 inc. It was founded February 19th 1989 at Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. The first president was Bert Ammerman. Present president is George Williams.

Victims of Pan Am Flight 103 started their activities the same year by lobbying for an independent inquiry of the American FAA, the socalled Lautenberg Inquiry, wich took place later on. During the last 9 years they continued to work for better airport security and awareness, keeping the memory of their lost loved ones alive in the pursuit for justice. However in 1990 some of the members disagreed on the topic of methods and goals, and the group split into the present Victims of Pan Am Flight 103 inc. and a smaller group Justice for Pan Am 103.

The organization issues a quarterly newsletter called TRUTH QUEST and is still working for awareness of Pan Am 103 in various ways throughout the USA and abroad.
